Key responsibilities: 1. Support the maintenance and operation of plant machinery, equipment, and utility systems to ensure smooth production activities. 2. Assist maintenance teams in carrying out preventive maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime. 3. Participate in breakdown maintenance activities and support timely restoration of equipment functionality. 4. Monitor equipment performance and report abnormalities, faults, or operational issues to the concerned team. 5. Ensure the smooth functioning of plant operations by coordinating with production and maintenance departments. 6. Follow standard operating procedures and maintenance guidelines while performing assigned tasks. 7. Maintain maintenance records, inspection reports, logbooks, and daily operational documentation accurately. 8. Support troubleshooting activities to identify equipment failures and assist in implementing corrective actions. 9. Assist in monitoring pumps, compressors, bearings, gearboxes, and other critical plant equipment. 10. Apply basic engineering knowledge to support equipment maintenance and operational efficiency initiatives. 11. Read and interpret basic engineering drawings and technical documents to support maintenance activities. 12. Assist in lubrication, alignment, and routine inspection activities for plant machinery. 13. Ensure adherence to safety standards, plant regulations, and environmental compliance requirements. 14. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing equipment performance and operational efficiency. 15. Support senior engineers and supervisors in executing maintenance schedules and operational plans.
