PhD Research Sciences Intern

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Analyzing and improving the performance of advanced algorithms on large-scale datasets and cutting-edge research in machine intelligence and machine learning applications. 2. Thinking through product scenarios and goals, identify key challenges, map requirements into Machine Learning (ML) tasks, and design experimental processes for iteration and optimization. 3. Building and implementing working prototypes of scalable systems in artificial intelligence (AI) applications. 4. Gaining a broad understanding of research areas, utilising applicable research techniques, staying updated on industry trends, and sharing knowledge with immediate team members. 5. Reviewing data quality and technical constraints, preparing datasets for analysis, and actively troubleshooting data quality issues by deciding which data to include or exclude. 6. Assisting with the development of usable datasets for modelling purposes and supporting the scaling of feature ideation and data preparation workflows. 7. Cleaning and adapting processed data for machine learning purposes under the direct supervision and guidance of senior team members.
