Editorial Intern - Branded Content

The Spotlight Team at Times Internet is looking for a Branded Content Editorial Intern to work alongside one of India's largest branded content teams. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience creating editorially driven content for leading brands across premium Times Internet platforms, including The Times of India, The Economic Times, ET B2B, Gadgets Now, ETimes, and more. This internship offers an opportunity to learn how branded storytelling is researched, conceptualized, written, edited, optimized, and published at scale. Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Assist the editorial team in researching and writing branded content across Technology, Lifestyle, Education, Healthcare, BFSI, Real Estate, FMCG, Luxury, and other sectors. 2. Research industry trends, current affairs, viral topics, and consumer insights to support content ideation and campaign planning. 3. Draft articles, listicles, explainers, blogs, social media copy, headlines, and other branded editorial content. 4. Proofread, edit, and fact-check content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to editorial guidelines. 5. Learn and implement SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines and improve organic visibility. 6. Assist in publishing content through the Content Management System (CMS) while maintaining quality and formatting standards. 7. Coordinate with editorial, design, marketing, and project teams to support branded content campaigns and timely project execution. 8. Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for branded storytelling and content marketing initiatives. 9. Conduct competitor research and analyze content trends to identify opportunities for engaging, high-performing content. 10. Ensure all content aligns with brand objectives, editorial standards, and campaign requirements. 11. Support content planning, campaign documentation, and editorial workflow management. 12. Complete assigned tasks within deadlines while demonstrating strong research, writing, communication, and organizational skills.
